Hyundai Santa Cruz Parts by Evilla Motorsports
Making fun parts for the Santa Cruz
Overview
The Santa is Hyundai’s latest attempt in combining the comfort and economy of a car with the capabilities of a truck. Looking at the vehicle ourselves it seems like a fun time to make parts for it. The vehicle we used was a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. The options were the Naturally aspirated version of the car, although we are still eyeing the turbo version. Here is what we have found so far.
Santa Cruz front and engine bay
Opening the hood the Santa Cruz, we immediately saw a lot of space which is rare for a modern car. Once of the first things that caught our eye was the strut towers. Because of the truck configuration, the strut tower stick out quite a bit from the body allowing a lot of flexing. To offer a solution for the problem we make our own strut bar for the car to promote better handling, chassis rigidity, and it looks good as well. Looking at the front of the Santa Cruz, it was really difficult to find access points to make other fun stuff like a front bumper that we can add additional accessories to it.
Santa Cruz Rear Suspension and Exhaust
Looking at the rear suspension and area of the Cruz we saw a lot of potential for parts including a sway bar, rear reinforcement, Rear Bumper, and more notably an exhaust. We will begin by making a Rear axle-back Exhaust for it and go from there. Our Exhaust will have an OEM look but have options in terms of sound from Magnaflow, Sport Series, Flowmaster, and Borla.
Future Parts for the Santa Cruz
So far we have received lots of support for the Santa Cruz, and will continue to build Fun part for It. The next on the List is
