The Hyundai Santa Cruz is a great truck that would greatly benefit from some good sound. The OEM Exhaust has a few exhaust restrictions that not only reduce horsepower, they also quite down the exhaust system. To resolve this, we have made the Santa Cruz Axle Back Exhaust for Cruz Owners can remove one of the restrictions, rewarding the user with better sound enjoyment, and better flow for horsepower.

Straight Pipe
- For those looking to make a loud impression this option will make your ride LOUD. Because it omits the resonator you also save $$$.
Sport Series
- We have selected this resonator as our prime choice for both performance and sound. We recommend this as our home choice since it sounds almost exactly like the Magnaflow option.
Other Brands
- To better tailor customer’s wants we also offer Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and Borla so that each owner can get the specific sound they are looking for on their Santa Cruz Exhaust.

Welding Style
We offer two options in welding our exhausts. We offer the same traditional Mig welded set up which is tried and true and cost effective which we pass the savings to our customer. We Offer TIG at customer request for an additional charge.
What does it sound like?
- Unlike several other aftermarket exhausts that can be overly loud and obnoxious, Our exhaust delivers a tone which can best be described as “Smooth.” It’s not too loud, and it does not overpower the car’s stock stereo system. However, it increases as RPM’s rise giving the user a sporty sound that compliments the car.

So easy to install two nuts and 3 rubber hangers, went with straight pipe. Great sound and more power. Only con pipe needs to be longer out back!

Installed the axle back muffler delete in my driveway for the Hyundai Santa Cruz. (In between the rain storms).
Hardest part was getting up…as I forgot the 15mm to tighten the clamp to connect up the two pipes.
Shipped fast and answered my questions quickly! Time from removal to install was less than 30 minutes. (I used a hanger removal tool simply a brilliant tool).
The tone sounds great and here’s the best part.
Wife told me I can’t hear your car when you come home…that was the green light to buy your product. Installed it, test drove it, came home and I asked her. Could you hear me parking in the driveway? Yes and Thank you!

@Stan ~ Haha. I suppose you could read it that way. But I should have mention the car I traded the SC for, had an exhaust system and she was use to hearing me come home. After 31 years of marriage I think the trust factor has been established. I hope that eases your suspicions Stan.
As for the exhaust, (Almost a month after installing) I still like it. Even my Police officer neighbor mentioned it. He thought I had put an exhaust on the SC. I asked if it was to loud? He said nope, sounds good. I had just noticed it sounded different.

I bought a New Hyundai Santa Cruz and upon my first Oil Change I noticed how RESTRICTED the Factory Exhaust System was , I was shocked when I saw that at the Suit Case Style looking Muffler / Resonator the pipe has a bend where it Factory pressed in I would say maybe an inch or so and this is the pipe where the Cruz breathes out I’D SAID TO MYSELF NO WAY , For those of you who own a Santa Cruz look at it and see what I am talking about and do your Cruz a favor , I did some research and came upon the Evilla Motor Sport Cat Back Exhaust System ,It came in Super Quick in a very presentable box it impressed me , I installed this System my self it was a pretty easy installation maybe around 45 minutes or so with proper tools , cranked up the Cruz and you immediately here a slightly throaty sound a bit loader than the factory RESTRICKED no sound , I rolled my Cruz out of the drive way and it was a day vs night experience it SOUNDED GREAT , NO DRONE NOISE AT ALL , YOU CAN HERE YOUR RADIO PLUS YOU CAN HAVE A NICE CONVERSATION WITH THE PASSENGERS , IT’S JUST A NICE SOUNDING EXHAUST SYSTEM , I took my Cruz on a 1.600 miles round trip and it was AWESOME , ANOTHER WELL SPENT ADD ON FOR MY SANTA CRUZ , Thanks Evilla for this part , Rene

Purchased the “Flowmaster” version about 3 months ago. It was delayed just a bit due to availability, but they let me know of the delay quickly. It was really simple to install and didn’t take long at all.
The sound is a nice mellow rumble that never gets too loud inside inside the cab. You can hear it for sure, but not annoying even in the back seat. From outside it has a nice sound.

I installed the Sport option and it is a perfect sound for the Santa Cruz. Installation was easy (I did use a hangar tool and that made it even easier). Very good fit, and I installed a hitch receiver at the same time with no issues or interference. Would highly recommend this addition!

Great kit, very satisfied. Appreciate being able to install this in my driveway with only a couple of tools and a can of lubricant, thanks to Evilla. Picked the Borla. Sounds great. Sound is subjective but I’m enjoying the deeper, throatier sound profile which manages to be pretty tame and isn’t going to piss off your neighbors. As for drone noise in the cab, had to turn the music off (which had been playing at a reasonable ~20% volume) to hear anything while cruising. I can live with tthat. Thanks for the kit
