for Forte 5 SX Hatch (2014-2018) TURBO ONLY
The Kia Forte has a few exhaust restrictions that not only reduce horsepower, they also quite down the exhaust system.
To resolve this, we have made the Axle Back Exhaust. It removes one of the restrictions, rewarding the user with better sound
enjoyment, and better flow for horsepower.

Straight Pipe

Sport Series
- We have selected this resonator as our prime choice for both performance and sound. We recommend this as our home choice since it sounds almost exactly like the Magnaflow option.

Welding Style
We offer two options in welding our exhausts. We offer the same traditional Mig welded set up which is tried and true and cost effective which we pass the savings to our customer. We Offer TIG at customer request for an additional charge.
Kia Forte Koup Exhaust Sound/Tone
What does it sound like?
- Unlike several other aftermarket exhausts that can be overly loud and obnoxious, Our exhaust delivers a tone which can best be described as “Smooth.” It’s not too loud, and it does not overpower the car’s stock stereo system. However, it increases as RPM’s rise giving the user a sporty sound that compliments the car.

Awesome product quality built! Gives that deep pure I was looking for I chose a straight pipe set up with burnt tips. Oooo dang looks and sounds nice!

Overall happy with purchase. Install took about 3 hours. A lot of that was heating old bolts to remove them. Actual install was pretty easy, hardest part was fitting the rubber hangers.
Hanger brackets were a bit too narrow. And the tips have a hanger that you secure to the muffler hanger rod. These were a bit off. One tip sits a bit lower than the other, and the hangers don’t quite ride the same spot on both sides. I’m going to try to adjust tomorrow.

Sound is nice and mellow (sport series muffler). Definitely accurate description of sound: it’s not loud at all and doesn’t drone. It does sound just a bit louder and deeper than stock, which is nice. Can’t hear much difference in cab with windows closed.
I do feel a noticeable decrease in resistance and increase in power.
Overall, I’m happy. There are issues with the placement not being exact as mentioned above, but this is to be expected from a bolt-on system. Mellow sound, easy install, increased power. Fast shipping!
